Fusion Finish Coating
The bathtub refinishing process is actually a two part job. The first part would be preparing the surface to accept the fusion finish coating. This is done thru chemical cleaning (not water) and through etching the old surface with an etching stone. After those steps are completed the etched surface is hand rubbed with two coats of fusion lock, which is my own formulation of molecular bonding agent. This formula is worked into the old surface through the etching so when the fusion finish coating is applied it will fuse into the old surface NOT simply lay on top of the old surface. The layers of the Fusion Finish coating are timed to allow them to melt together as several layers are added on. This fusion finish coating then becomes an integrated part of your old surface.
